The Spread Dog is the first of it's kind triplex wire spreader. It opens the wire from four points of contact allowing the unit to be stable and much easier to use.
It is used in conjunction with the Lineman's Chopsticks.
The Lineman's Chopsticks are a pair of wedges with rubber handles and a lanyard to create the initial opening for the tool. The combined use of the "Dog", and the "Chopsticks" makes spreading triplex almost fun to do!
