The "Old Man" is a vault access grab rail system designed to improve the level of safety when entering or exiting a vault. It is designed to attach mechanically to the vault lid ring, and clamp onto the ceiling for maximum support.
A very important component to the Old Man system is the heavy duty 1½" nylon strap that attaches to the existing ladder to mitigate potential ladder failure.
